1.1) INFORMATION ON PSD2:

PSD 2 ("Payment Services Directive 2") is a European directive, in effect in the EEA (European Economic Area) since September 14, 2019, which regulates payment services and service providers in order to make online payments more secure..

When you pay with a card an online order, you will be asked to confirm your identity by your banking institution with a service called "3D Secure."

In the case of an order placed within the European Union, your banking institution may automatically redirect you to the 3D Secure service page. The authentication methods adopted vary: you may receive a confirmation code via SMS or email, or you may need to proceed with validation through Touch ID. 

Specifically, the process on Ideal Moda is integrated and automated during the checkout phase if the provided payment gateway is used. In some circumstances, manual validation may be required: in this case, you will receive an email with a link to confirm the payment.

As soon as the payment is authenticated and the order is validated, you will be redirected back to the Ideal Moda confirmation page, and you will also receive a notification via email once the order is confirmed.

For more information on "3D Secure" authentication, we recommend contacting your banking institution. We also advise ensuring the accuracy of the data provided to avoid communication issues in case of authentication via SMS or email.

    2.1) CURRENCY MANAGEMENT:

    The currency used at the time of payment varies depending on the geographical area/country of origin of the user creating the order and the chosen pickup point by the user themselves. It will be shown to you during checkout before the complete payment processing. 

    Nevertheless, the order will be processed in standard currency in EUR ( € ) in case your own is not available.
